Description:

Timothy Richards bookends are hand crafted in fine gypsum plaster capturing all the features and fine detailing of the Orders of Classical Greek Architecture.

DORIC - The first order of Classical Architecture.  The detail is taken directly from the Parthenon, Athens BC447/43.

IONIC - The second order of Classical Architecture.  This bookend is characterised by a capital composed of opposing scrolls known as volutes. The detail is taken from the Temple of Athena Nike BC425.

CORINTHIAN - The third order of Classical Architecture.  The Corinthian order was adopted by the Romans from the Greeks and was bestowed with the association of beauty and love and was the most popular of the Greek Orders. Detail has been taken from the Temple of Zeus Olympia, Athena, BC174

    Bulky Items

    Non-standard, bulky and heavy items or items outside of Australia Post guidelines may incur additional costs. Mr Wares will contact you and quote any additional shipping charges. Mr Wares will fully refund purchases if additional shipping costs exceed the purchaser’s expectations.
