Kaweco Brass Sport Rollerball Pen
The Kaweco Brass Sport is the heavyweight of the Sport series, and is turned from first-class brass. Weighing 44g, this rollerball pen is the heaviest Kaweco pen. The cap and barrel are manufactured in two complex processes to create this stunning piece of German engineering.
Brass has been valued since ancient times for its beauty and durability. The Eco brass fountain pen contains no lead in the formula of the brass, so the pen will age more like copper than regular brass. Slight colour variations occur naturally, the appearance of each pen may vary from the photos, and the colour may not be uniform throughout the pen. Over time, the colour will deepen as the brass oxidises, creating a natural patina.
First designed in the 1930s, the German-made Kaweco Sport is a compact, reliable pen with an excellent vintage-meets-contemporary look. We highly recommend this pen: the quality is excellent, it's durable and it's a little bit of pen-design history.
The pen is very compact when capped - at 10.5cm it slips easily into a pocket or purse. When the cap is removed and 'posted' on the end of the barrel it extends to 13.3cm: a comfortable length for writing.
The Brass Spot has a screw cap and can be refilled with a the standard G2 refill from Kaweco, the smooth ink glides across the paper, and won't dry out even if the pen is left uncapped.
