Kaweco Liliput Fountain Pen Brass
The Kaweco Lilliput Fountain Pen is a great traveller's fountain pen - compact, thin, lightweight and super smooth to write with. It has a metal body with the Kaweco logo placed tastefully in white on the end of the cap. The barrel is about 8mm in diameter and has an elegant simplicity.
The pen has a screw cap and a cleverly thought-out thread at the end of the
barrel, so you can then post the cap securely when it is time to write.
The pen is 9.7cm when closed, 8.7cm with the cap removed and 12.5cm with the cap posted on the end of the barrel. Brass has been valued since ancient times for its beauty and durability. The Eco brass fountain pen contains no lead in the formula of the brass, so the pen will age more like copper than regular brass. Slight colour variations occur naturally and the appearance of each Lilliput pen may vary from the photos, with the colour may not be uniform throughout the pen. Over time, the colour will deepen as the brass oxidises, creating a natural patina.
The Liliput has a stainless steel, iridium-tipped nib made by the Bock family of Heidelberg, Germany. These nibs are famous for their consistency. An iridium tip protects the nib from abrasion by contact with paper.
This pen takes standard international cartridge refills.
